Big Sky, the world-renowned ski destination located in southern Montana, is getting a new $416 million resort in 2021. The ultra-luxe five-star resort shares amenities with the exclusive Spanish Peaks Mountain Club.
The new Montage Big Sky will include 150 guestrooms and 39 residences featuring a décor that honors the outdoor setting of the destination with elements of natural wood and stone. Guests will enjoy ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky Resort in the winter. In the summer, a private 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf will let guests see the awe-inspiring peaks of Yosemite as they play the one-and-a-half mile course with a 40-mile view. Indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center and a 16,000-square-foot spa with beauty and wellness pampering round out the amenities. The resort will be laid out across 520,000 square feet and include opportunities for fishing and hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing, as well as world-class skiing.
Meeting space will include 12,870 square feet of event spaces and four food and beverage outlets with a lobby bar, lounge, market and pub. Vehicle access into the meeting space is to be determined.
