Located on the bustling Syngrou Avenue in Athens, Greece, the new Marriott hotel opened its doors to guests in spring 2018 after renovating the former Metropolitan Athens.

The new Marriott Athens Hotel features 341 rooms and 25 suites spread out over seven floors. Amenities include private club rooms, a Greek restaurant, a rooftop bar and a fitness center. The hotel also offers 11,495 square feet of meeting space with natural light, comprising eight event rooms. The Aegean Sea Ballroom is the largest space at 5,113 square feet (not vehicle accessible).
