Hyatt has been awarded the operation of the 800-room Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, opening in 2023.

The property will serve as a 17-story headquarters hotel for the newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center. It will feature 800 guestrooms on 12 floors, a resort-style pool with views and retail space on the street level.

The hotel is anticipating two floors of meeting spaces and ballrooms (vehicle accessibility TBD) that will complement the convention center. An elevated sky bridge will allow attendees to access the center while staying out of the weather.

The new hotel will become the second Grand Hyatt property in Florida, the first being Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.
